and skill to create.

Frankish
Throwing axe - Overall Length 18 1/4"

Made from one of several known styles of Axe used by the
Franks.
The
forged, fire-gray finish compliments the graceful lines
of the head. The handle is made of ash, swelled to hold
the head in place. This piece will be a welcome addition
to any collection.

Danish
throwing axe - Overall Length 17 3/4"

Made
from an example taken from 10th c. site of Mammen, Denmark.
The find dates back to the 10th
century, when the north men were invading the rest of the
world - just before famous Danes like Cnut the Great were
dominating England. The inlay design is truly excellent,
handle is made of ash. This piece will be a welcome addition
to any collection.
